Starting to see some real and visible results of our application design. A challenge we have is The Personal Airline is a fully functional airline booking and scheduling system. Lean Startup MVP does not work, since it does not go over well if we forget a passenger, don’t schedule an aircraft, fail to pay an operator, or lose data! Our development partner, KiwiTech, has a track record of building robust operational systems and are bringing a senior team to make sure the system exceeds users expectations.
Here are some examples of the screens. Our goal is to make the front-end of the system intuitive with a look & feel of airline sites. It is the back-end that powers the complex science, performing multi-party negotiation with 5-10 users, simultaneously, as well as multidimensional searches with fuzzy logic embedded.
The concept is simple. You request a custom on-demand flight, WingTips searches availability across multiple airports. Because we offer on-demand flights, there are no preset schedules, instead we perform a complex search process that overlays your request with other travelers and with what our charter operator partners have available.
If there are no matching flights to your request, you may be offered a Pre-Flight. This is a group of travelers with matching flight plans. Pre-Flights convert to Flights with as few as three travelers. No obligation to join a Pre-Flight, so you can select it and see if it converts to a flight within a few hours, and once it is a Flight, you decide if you want to purchase.
And when there is a match, we present the flight to you. This is like booking a seat on an airline, where you are confirmed upon payment.
